Music to my ears...

Well, I thought it was about time I uploaded some traditional art. Gyah, but the original is better... although it is good, because the scanning shows up so many flaws which aren't noticeable in real life... is it me, or is the shape of the head completely wrong? Ah... and yeah the eyes are too big... I'm afraid this is something I constantly do... I blame you, manga!
But the hands I am very proud of.
Oh yes, and speaking of the hands... they are in no way related to the portrait (a young Louie Armstrong) think of this as two separate images. It's going to go onto my art folio, which is basically a HUGE thing almost as tall as me and wider than my arm span onto which we stick mainly paintings on a certain theme that we do throughout the year in class. My theme is jazz+blues.
And also... before you go too hard on me about the flaws of this image... please let me add that it was very rushed... in art one day the teacher said that we had to do a drawing that was due the next day... this is the result.
