The Queen Is Dead

Part of my history notes. I thought I'd uploaded this already, but apparently I only uploaded the other one.

Anyway, when Mary Tudor ('affectionally' known as Bloodly Mary) died, her sister Lizzie was quite chuffed. She was sitting by a tree reading the Bible when she was informed and supposedly exclaimed, in Latin, "this is the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in our eyes!"

They obviously got on well.
